My family with the Coyte surname were surprised at the names origin. We all thought it was foreign. Imagine our surprise to learn it was English. So interesting. I'm getting similar done for a very good friend of mine for her birthday/Christmas present.

I am presently editing a story of my family history. It has taken me 2 years to put together and I intend to print it for family members. Our surname on my Dads side is/was Gotobed and I thought it would be a nice addition if I could include a potted history of the name. With that in mind and after contacting 'A Day In History' I can now include a copy of a document that gives details from 1273AD onwards. Thank you!
